Introduction
Apart from the fabulous Caves of Mulu, the caves of East Malaysia are largely neglected by the international caving community. Since the RGS expedition of 1978, interest has been focussed almost entirely on Mulu. There are several other important karst areas in Sarawak alone and others in Sabah.
The idea behind this website is to gather together all the published information on all the caves of East Malaysia in one place. This will help anyone who is interested in studying or visiting caves in Borneo to readily access information which will help in their endevours.
Perhaps this will also encourage an interest within the local population to take up caving as a hobby. At present there are only a small group of less than 10 doing caving as a past-time
